A bonfire interactive session was planned on a full-moon night at Anekal. Unable to make it to the gathering, resident meditator Ms. Bhuvi Mahadev, innocently requested Guruji to allow one in Taponagara. Guruji, like an ever-loving father, immediately agreed. So the arrangements were made on the Utility Block. After the Residents’ Meet dinner everyone assembled on a cold winter night. Cloaked in thick winter wear, members seated around the bonfire. The glow on everyone’s face was due to sheer joy of being around Guruji under a beautiful starry late night. The atmosphere was like that of many children huddled around their beloved father, discussing everything under the sun, or the moon to be correct.

Sudhakar Sir has a very deep voice but when he asked this question there was more to the depth, probably a yearning towards Perfection even in the mundane matters of life. “Guruji, my question is about judgment. We should not judge others; however in our day to day dealings most of us usually define a person as a good or a bad person. How do we maintain the awareness that each person is an expression of the Divine and that is the permanent reality, not the unpleasant characteristics that we see. When we are aware of this and define a person, is it alright?

Guruji: “You see, judging is different from forming an opinion. Judging means you condemn a person. It is natural that we like some people where as some we do not. We normally develop likes and dislikes. But when you take it beyond a point it becomes unhealthy. We may not hate but we develop a very strong dislike. To give a very simplified example, love for coffee does not mean that we have to hate tea. Strong dislike somehow leads to hatred. So if you think you do not like a person, go into introspection and evaluate. Do not let a surface level disagreement or preference develop into a permanent strong dislike. It’s not good for your Spiritual growth.”

Once we embark on a Spiritual journey there is a lot of hard work to do. Meditation is just one part of the effort; contemplation, introspection, facing our inner conflicts, shortcomings and most importantly being patient with oneself and others becomes extremely important.

Ms. Barbara Von Grote, a visiting postal guidance German student asked the next question, “Is there any collaboration between the aliens on this planet and the Rishis?”

Guruji: “There is a perfect co-ordination between the aliens and the Rishis. The beings from other planets who want to help humanity speak to the Rishis, they take instructions and guidance.”

There are some aliens who come from lower Lokas and create trouble. Such beings are dealt with.

Having visited many Spiritual Paths and Ashrams, Barbara has observed the various aspects of Spiritual training; her next question was regarding this. “Great holy Masters introduced new teachings and techniques and when they passed over they left behind their devoted disciples with strict instructions to be followed. Were they not aware of the fact that their teachings would soon be outdated?”

Guruji: “They knew. They also knew that the new teachings would be taken up. You see, there is a constant connection between disciples and Masters, and whenever they found certain things outdated, the updated versions were passed on to the disciples. They were channeled to them. When disciples lost contact they continued with the old outdated ways. Over here we have never had outdated instructions. My Guru Amara had continuous contact with his Guru and the Saptarishis. The Rishis passed on new guidance and instructions.”

Though the flames of the bonfire were bright enough, those seated at the back were barely visible. As we were seated around the fire and the questions darted from everywhere, each time we had to figure out from where the questions were emanating. “Guruji, over here, I wanted to ask you about what would happen to all the millions of ghosts on this planet during the 2012 shift?”

“There are many Light Workers,” Guruji said “They will shift all these spirits or ghosts.”

"Will they use space shuttles?”

“Not necessary but sometimes they do. If they have to transport a large number of Astral beings, they use a kind of Astral space shuttle. If there are a few then the Astral beings are escorted through space directly.”

Ms. Shruti Sudhakar, despite being in the middle of a hectic managerial career wanted to know more on what it takes to work for the Rishis. “Guruji, to be more disciplined in one’s work for the Rishis or even otherwise for oneself, according to my understanding, I think one would require a lot of love for the work, affirmations would help, and as you said, following a rhythm everyday would help. Is there anything else we can do to organise ourselves?”

“These three are more than enough. You have said it very beautifully. When there is love discipline follows naturally. Discipline should not be imposed. Where there is imposition there will always be a kind of resistance. Rhythm always helps. Anything more is not required at the moment.”

Longtime volunteer and student Mr. Vishwanath took Guruji down memory lane as he asked, “Namaste Guruji. When Amara was alive did you have such bonfire meetings with him? Can you speak about those experiences?”

Guruji: “We did not have bonfire sessions but we had meetings. Some were under the moonlight. At that time we did not have many students. Our questions were fairly simple and yet, he would give us a lot of information. Even without our asking he would explain about the various levels of Samadhi. He would also narrate the details of his Astral Works. Our knowledge base about metaphysics was not as much as it is today. We would ask elementary things like Trataka, etc but he would brilliantly combine wonderful insights and new knowledge in his answers.

“And there was fun, of course. We would always feel at ease with him. He would never, even indirectly, slight a person, he would never comment. We had great respect for him which did not create any distance. We used to talk very freely, but in a very dignified, highly majestic way. Those meetings were not many but they are very memorable.”

Some weeks back Guruji had mentioned that the Astral body also ages. Mr. Gururaj Kanade wanted to know more about this. The answer was that as the physical body ages, so does the Astral body over millions of years. It was also clarified that there is no connection between the age of the Astral body and the opening of psychic and other mystical faculties.

His next question, “Guruji, in the last class you had mentioned about the age of the earth. We are now about past half out of the 4.32 billion years. At the end life on earth, would some part of life be taken to another planet where it would blossom again?”

Guruji: “Definitely. You see, by that time, one more planet would be ready to hold physical life.”

“Because the astronauts believe that initially life came from Mars in the form of bacteria and it started evolving, would the process be similar?”

“Yes. What they say is true. Life came from Mars in the beginning.”

It is always nice when knowledge derived by empirical and evidential source is verified by the Ascended Masters.

Ms. Apoorva, a bright high school student and Mr. Jayant Deshpande’s daughter, is an avid reader. Her question was regarding the curses carried by Egyptian mummies which she had read about.

Guruji explained how the curses worked. “There is a curse attached to every mummy. Only in some cases, the Higher Beings or the deceased store some special energies in the mummies which are released when the sarcophagus is opened. So the curses were laid to deter disturbances.

“In case of King Tutankhamen, who was a very great man, he had instructed his followers that a curse be laid on his mummy. Curse is a kind of a protective shield. Even for research they should not have opened the sarcophagus.

“There are many other secrets about the ancient Egyptians and their pyramids. Despite all the research and all the books only two percent of the secrets have been revealed, and ninety eight percent remains. Imagine how much knowledge and secrets there must be. When the time comes they will be revealed automatically.”

Apoorva also asked whether the Mayans and the Egyptians were similar races.

Guruji said that they were and he added, “Egyptians received a lot of knowledge from Sun God - Ra. Mayans did not stay for a long time but the Egyptians stayed for generations and they have done a lot of work. Their work is yet to be discovered. Maybe after 2012 we will come to know a lot about the pyramids.

Before answering the next question on Prana, Guruji very lovingly asked some of us to move back from our places so that the hot ember dust would not fly on us when the wind blew.

Guruji: “Yes Prana, it is from the Sun. It is available even when the Sun is not visible. When we take in Prana the mental body gets the sustenance, it gets rejuvenated. There are several types of prana. One type is freely available. For other types, we may have to pray to a certain Deity and it will be given to us. To receive the Higher Pranas you need not go through rigorous Pranayama exercises. We can connect to the Deity and he will oblige. You can receive the Prana directly without breathing in air.”

Someone asked if more Prana is available in Taponagara. It was explained that it is not so and that Taponagara has some special energies.

A Study Center member asked the next question, “Guruji, can we say that Sun’s Prana is available throughout the solar system? Which means even Pluto will have Prana?”

“Exactly, it is available in the entire Solar System.”

“So, if mankind can start living on Prana then they can travel in spaceships to other planets whether they receive the Sun’s heat or not.”

“Absolutely” Guruji confirmed with a beaming smile.

The same person continued with a series of questions on the pyramids and to every one’s surprise an amazing revelation came through. Read on.

Question: “Guruji, we know that the three pyramids of Giza are aligned to the three stars of Orion, called the Orion’s belt. But among others Orion has four very prominent stars. So, I did a Google earth search to check if those stars are plotted around the existing pyramids as ancient temple ruins or abandoned pyramids. There are no tell-tale signs but I feel that there could have been something there….”

Answer: “…the other four stars do not have pyramids, but there are energy centers there. The energy centre is under the ground. Maybe after quite some time they will become active. The Giza pyramids, don’t exist in isolation. Once the other centers are activated the pyramids will regain their original glory and will become much more powerful.”

“That is very interesting, Guruji.”

“Yes, even for me it is very interesting.”

Question: “Then Guruji, what about Sirius? It is a very important star for us. Is there an energy centre to correspond to it?”

Answer: “Yes. It is the most important star for us and it has an energy centre as well on earth.”

Question: “Is it plotted around Orion, the way it is in the skies?”

Answer: “Yes.”

Question: “Again, it is in Africa like the pyramids?”

Answer: “Yes. Africa is a very important continent. You will see after some time, after the 2012 changes, Africa will become the most important continent.

Question: “Like this are any other stars plotted on earth Guruji?”

Answer: “We don’t have any knowledge about it right away.”

Question: “Because we are on the topic, Guruji, I remember Ms. Soluntra King had once mentioned that you had one incarnation on the star Sirius. You were born as a Sirian. So, do you have any more information on that?”

Answer: “I don’t. I remember, the first time when she met me she said I was a Sirian. I knew it was true. In my case, firstly, I am not trying to gather information from my past and secondly, the past life memories may disturb my work. For me, that information is not required. That’s why, even for all of us, the past is kept out. It is not important right now.”

Question: “Guruji, do you still carry energies from your Sirian life?”

Answer: “I do; it’s in my core. It will help me in my next phase of the Rishis’ Work. So far it has helped me though it is dormant I should say. As we near 2012, maybe these energies will help me.”

Then out of the blue came the moment of revelation which no one was prepared for – “Here, in this very audience, there are seven individuals who had a lifetime on Sirius. They carry the same energies as I do. At the right time they will come to know about it.”

A strange silence pervaded the Utility block terrace as if no one was there! Guruji wouldn’t reveal the names and we were all wondering who was on the list. Sensing this Guruji joked, “I said individuals, I did not say he or she, so guess all you want.”

The next answer brought an amazing understanding of the Photon Belt, “Guruji, one last question. Our Sun’s Prana extends to its solar system. Now, Sirius is a very huge star, does it mean that the Photon Belt is actually Sirius’s Prana field?”

Guruji: “Yes. We can say that. The energy is so pure that it is causing all these upheavals, political scams, etc. All negativity will surface.”

The first iGuruji session of 2011 was a wintry cold yet sunny morning at Antar-Manasa. Sipping hot tea under the blue skies while waiting for Guruji’s arrival was in itself a very beautiful experience. While a pet cat purred around us one could only wonder how many Astral visitors were assembling for the session. Probably envying our hot cup of chai.

Even before the Q&A started Shyamala Ma’am had kept the microphone in her hand, ready like an opening batsman. “Guruji, a few months ago, you gave us a technique to receive Prana directly from the Sun, we have been practising regularly. Some days ago I missed out for about a week. Would this have affected my progress?”

Guruji: “No, it is fine. Here I would like to mention that whenever I give a technique, I expect a feedback after thorough practice. Very rarely do I receive a report.”

In response to a question about whether this technique can be practised anytime, Guruji explained, “You can practise this anytime except for the Nisheet Kala, which is from 1am to 3:36am. Sun’s Prana is all pervasive even when the Sun is not visible.”

Guruji had later recommended that it is better we avoid the entire night time period. This is to avoid attracting the attention of any non-positive force.

Mr. Puranik, a very senior Sadhak asked, “What is the difference between the energies received from the Rishis and that received from the Sun?

All Prana comes from the Sun. This was known to us earlier, what was new in the answer was that while each Rishi receives the energy from the Cosmos, from God, from the Universe and passes on, he will add something from himself which is very special to him. Love being just one factor.

“Guruji, you spoke about Nisheeta Kala. Please throw some more light on it because I read somewhere that during Shivaratri, Shiva Pooja has to been done in that particular period.”

Guruji: “You see, in 24 hours certain hours are allotted to the dark forces. They can be active in this period called Nisheeta Kala. If we do something important, let us say, deep contemplation or we take an important decision, they may influence that decision. However on Holy days there will be no Nisheetha Kala; their influence will not work.

Mr. Karthik N. a longtime student who rarely asks questions took his turn, “Continuing the question about energies, we know that there are different kinds and frequencies of energies; some subtle others gross. Is there some process of conversion between subtler to grosser energies, and while conversion is there any loss?”

Guruji: “I have consistently said that energies have Intelligence. If you receive an energy which is subtle and if it has to become gross then it will decide and help you. There are losses which we are not aware of.”

Mr. Brajbandhu Mishra: Guruji, between 1 am to 3:36 am, should we avoid all Spiritual practices?

Guruji: "Because you stay in Taponagara you can practise your Stage Meditation. Don’t try to contact anyone outside the Manasi Field. But only Meditation, nothing else, not even Pranayama. Prana comes from Sun. You see, anything that comes from outside, can be interfered and corrupted. There are dark people. They can track down easily and send their own energies. That’s why it is very risky. But Meditation is mainly silencing; it involves your own system so there is no harm.”

“Should we avoid practices like Shambala Principles as well?”

“Let us avoid, I suggest” Guruji confirmed.

Mr. Ravi G H, who rarely joins the iGuruji sessions, continued the question on Nisheet Kala, “During this time, if one Astral travels unconsciously, will there be any harm to the silver cord?”

Guruji assured, “The people under the Rishis will not be allowed to separate themselves from the physical body and travel Astrally. This is taken care of. So consciously or unconsciously, you cannot travel Astrally.”

Despite any and all dangers we need to remember that Guruji has provided us with energy shields and every time we meditate the shields are further strengthened. Our negative thoughts puncture the shields from within, weakening them. Our deliberate negativity is a bigger cause for trouble than any non-positive force.

The discussion on protection prompted a few questions on shields. Ms. Vidya Virkar asked, “The function of the shield is to protect against negative forces, are there any other benefits?”

“You see, the shield not only protects it consciously filters. When we receive energies it will prevent dark energies from entering and we receive only the right energies. The shield is made of energies. Energies have intelligence. Sometimes the shield guides. In addition to our own intuition, it tells us about right from wrong.”

“Which means Guruji, we get intuitional messages from the shield?”

“Yes, the shield confirms our decisions, it improves on it. Sometimes even when we do not use our intuition, the shield will give us proper advise.”

“Wow, I see. That’s incredible. It does a lot of things, then.”

“Yes, a lot of things. That’s why we have to be aware of the shield and strengthen it every day.”

“Guruji, does it also create a sort of atmosphere around us?”

“Definitely it does. There are many other things as well.”

This reminds me of the discussion we once had with Guruji about portals to different dimensions. Portals have their own intelligence and can deny entry. For those who want to refresh their memory, this has been mentioned in the iGuruji Volume II in the chapter titled – Strewn Wealth. Even strong negative thoughts targeted towards a person which become elementals do not behave like guided missiles; upon reaching the destination the elemental can choose not to impact the person. Elementals have their innate intelligence as well. This has been explained in detail on page 112 of the book New Age Realities.

“Guruji, continuing the question on shields” Ravi G H asked, “we know a technique where we can shield loved ones. I am talking about a new born baby. So, if we do shielding to protect it from negativities and all, will that be interfering the Astral work of a baby?”

“There is a beautiful revelation - that babies are protected by God Himself. We need not do the shielding technique for others, it is very difficult, only the Rishis do it. We just need to shield ourselves.”

Despite the revelations and constant link that Guruji has with the Ascended Masters and God, there are times when answers are not given. Like for example Brajbandhu asked for more information from Guruji about the point he had made about liquid energies in the Sunday Class.

“We do not know anything more about it yet. That status remains.” Guruji replied.

Many times Guruji knows directly using his intuition. At other times he will have knowledge by his direct participation in Astral Projects. There are secret places on earth wherein a lot of information is stored. Guruji has accessed answers from here. He also refers the Akashic Records. However, he chooses not to bring down more data sometimes because the time is not right. In this meeting, someone asked for more information on the twin eclipses, Guruji simply said he did not have any. The Master always knows best.

Ms. Rakhee shared a Meditational experience and sought understanding, “Guruji, when we experience Light during Meditation, we become aware of all the levels. Sometimes we go deep and then go blank. We lose awareness of everything, even the body. What does this mean, Guruji?

“It means that whatever we experience there at the deeper level, we are not supposed to know at this level. It is very important to know” Guruji replied. “Everything that we know at that level, we need not or perhaps should not bring it to this level. That’s why there is blankness. That’s why many times whenever we have experiences, like we meet a Rishi and he gives us a message, we remember only at that time. But when we wake up, we forget. You are not expected to remember that. Blankness is deliberate. It is removed from our conscious mind. It is not a mistake. There is nothing wrong with us or our Meditations.

This goes on to prove further that all is not accessible from our level of existence.

The next question has been one of the most often posed queries to Guruji and that is why it deserves a mention again: We are preparing for 2012 because we are on this Path. What about those who do not know anything about this phenomenon or those on other Paths?

Guruji: “We have been contacting everyone at the Astral level. The preparation is becoming truthful, becoming good. That’s the first stage. It’s not just about practicing the techniques. If one becomes truthful then he is ready to sail through 2012. Such things have been told Astrally by many volunteers, Rishis, Light Workers; and Lord Kalki is in charge of this operation. No one is left out in God’s world. Of course, we are fortunate because at this level we know so many things about 2012. You see at the physical level we have limitations, I can speak to only a few people. But Astrally we can communicate with many at the same time and what is striking it that the degree of reception is more.

“Whatever the affiliation to Spiritual Paths there may be, we do not distinguish between followers of any Path. Every individual is contacted already and their progress is being monitored.”

“So they need not worry about 2012?”

“No” - an emphatic assertion from Guruji, “No one has to worry. It is God who is taking care of everyone. Every Path works in their own way, according to their knowledge. Our focus here is very clear.”

Ms. Soumya spoke next, she looked like a perturbed drop of pure dew. After hearing her question I understood why. “Guruji, we were talking about being truthful and good. Nowadays I have started observing that sometimes we resort to harmless lies. For example, I wanted to meditate but my friends wanted me to attend a get-together. I did not want to tell them about my Meditations because they are not open enough, so I gave an excuse of being busy. I could not tell them the truth, but how else could I have dealt with this kind of a situation?”

Knowing that life is seldom a clear choice between what is right and what works, Guruji has always insisted on us using our intuition and Spiritual maturity. With an all-understanding smile he replied, “It’s a very good question. All of us face such quandaries. Let me tell you, you are not doing anything wrong if you tell a harmless lie. It is not easy for a Guru to say this. But, I know what I am saying. There are many parameters to evaluate honesty, it is not always about blatantly speaking truth; the most important parameter is your intention behind the act. Your intent is not to harm, cheat or exploit others. You wanted to meditate; you had a higher purpose in mind……”

“…thank you Guruji.”

“Now, be happy. Your conscience is clear.”

Here again Guruji is not issuing a license to use harmless lies carelessly. Let us not forget, all students are a part of the Astral network of the Rishis, so everyone is monitored. All acts and the underlying intent will show-up during the monthly Spiritual check-up! The Universe notes everything.

Ms. Mala Suresh, spoke in a very subdued voice, which is very unusual. Her vivacious personality is contagious. “Namaste Guruji. Last month after informal meeting, I went home and after sometime my grandmother passed away. That day I could contact you easily and later I realised that you had given me so much of energies due to which I could manage the events that followed. I have never seen death so closely and I had to tie the body, ready it for final rites. I had to enter the crematorium. I could handle everything without fear. Can I understand that I have grown Spiritually and that is what helped me?”

Guruji: “You can say that; in our own way we all grow. When we understand things more, it’s a growth. You are able to do all these things courageously. Normally people get scared.

“I want every one of you to know this - each one of you, in your own way, is growing. It may not be visible, even to our own self. The very fact that we have assembled here, we have taken pains to come all the way from far off places, this indicates that we are into something very serious. Unless there is growth, you cannot come here. My Guru used to say that the fact a person has come for check-ups indicates that he has made progress. It may not be enough to shift him to the next stage, but there is progress. If there is no progress, people just go away.”

This can be extrapolated to e-guidance students; if you are reading this then there is progress. Strange are the ways in which the Universe works, unbeknown to us our evolution continues.

Mr. Vilas Khedekar, a visiting postal guidance student found himself in a unique position. He was right there in the session which indicated his Spiritual progress but he had not sent his Practise Reports in time. “Namaste Guruji, though I have meditated regularly I haven’t send the Reports…”

“This matter you have to deal with Shyamala Devi directly” Guruji said with a mischievous smile knowing how tough she gets with “Practise Report defaulters”. Many of us could not control our laughter.

“Seriously” he continued, “you have to send Reports in time. If you don’t then there will be something which is not right. That’s why you don’t send. I won’t say it is a failure; it is a very strong word. But there will be something wrong with our practice, something will be lacking in our Sadhana. That’s why we forget to send though it appears unintentional. But even at the conscious level, something holds you back and you can’t send.”

This again can be extrapolated to local students who come in person for check-ups. Connecting the dots of how unconscious acts indicate a deeper reality is another mystery of the Universe.

“I had arranged a meeting of my friend with you Guruji, and though he had travelled to Bangalore, and come here all the way, he kept you waiting and could not meet you. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused to you on that day” Vilas Khedekar said.

Guruji: “Don’t be sorry. One I was waiting for him. Two it is very strange, we were not supposed to meet. So we just could not! He met Jaya at the reception and spoke to her but never mentioned that he had an appointment. He was here for some time and he left. The thing is, it was not the time for us to meet. So, although he came from such a distant place he could not meet me. You see, I always say, we do not meet by accident. There is a design, a destiny. When we have to meet, we just do.

“Ask those who live in Taponagara, I don’t meet them as such. But when it is due somehow they meet me somewhere on the way. At such times I know I am supposed to meet the person. There will be some reason always.

“So do not feel bad, about the cancelled appointment.”

While a much relieved Vilas Khedekar thanked Guruji, I marveled at the workings of the Universe around great Masters like our Guruji. Many have observed, and Guruji has reluctantly accepted, that when he wishes for something it manifests magically.

As if to push me further into my wonderment about the mysterious ways of the Universe, Soumya asked, “Guruji, when I was young, someone had told me that trees, plants and the birds in Tirupati are all great sages who have come in that form to perform Sadhana. Similarly are the animals here in Taponagara some great souls living here to pursue Sadhana?”

Guruji: “You can say that. Let me share this with you, Amara had a big Pooja room and whenever people entered, his pet dog would join as well, it was never prohibited from entering. Whenever they sat for Meditation, it would sit there for a long time, from half an hour to even one hour. Later it would exit with everyone.”

May be the purring cat strolling amidst seated members had triggered this question.

The tone of the discussion completely changed as a student thanked Guruji for healing energies. Ms. Sunita B. R. – “I have been on this Path for three months. For the past two years I have suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis. Now I am completely cured. I am not on medication. I am so happy. I feel so happy when I come here and I just see you.”

Ms. Bhagyavati shared her Meditational experiences, “Guruji, when I meditate, I hear some people talking, though there is no one around. I also see vague pictures. Sometimes even when I am not meditating I hear voices. What is this all about Guruji? Am I meditating incorrectly?”

Guruji: “No. There is nothing wrong. You have become sensitive to people in the Astral level. That’s all, be happy about it.”

“Another strange thing is that when I sit for Meditation, my heart chakra activates at the back and not in the front where it is supposed to be. I wonder why? And as soon as it starts vibrating, I feel some ants crawling around….”

“…..continue with the Meditational practices you are doing. These are all small, let us say, side effects. Ignore them. Continue with the technique you are given. You are doing the right thing. There is nothing wrong.” Guruji assuaged Bhagyavati’s concerns.

The Universe reveals its mysterious ways at its own pace. With each session a new facet becomes visible. The first iGuruji meeting has set the tone for the rest of the year to emulate.

In the late 1990s, Guruji had initiated a few students into a Healers’ Group. Only those who had reached a certain Chakra Activation Stage could qualify to join the Group. The healers would have a scheduled meeting, wherein Guruji would give some very special mantras and techniques. In the recent years, especially since the Light Channelling technique was started since 2008, the accent has been on using Divine Light as healing energy. In 2010, while the Light Channels World Movement was blooming beautifully, the healing activity also got revived. This time, it was spearheaded and orchestrated by a kind-hearted meditator, Mr. Manoj Chopra.

In one of the discussions with Guruji, he shared some very good experiences which he had while healing others. He started with an experience while healing his wife, Ms. Rakhee Chopra, who is also a volunteer. “Guruji, some days back Rakhee was suffering from pain. I began sending Divine Light to her and was trying to understand the exact nature and location of the problem. Then something very strange happened. Quite accidentally, I went inside her Astrally and began channelling from within her body! And the very next moment I was back in my body. Was I imagining or did this actually happen?”

As Manoj was narrating the experience, it was evident from the look on Guruji’s face that he was already verifying using his intuition. “That’s a very good experience,” Guruji said happily. Looking at the rest of us he said, “All of us can try this. If someone has pain in their heart, stomach, etc then you can go to that body part, focus your attention, your awareness there and send healing energies. When you put you awareness anywhere, it is as good as you being there. You can literally see the healing occurring. For example, if there is some sickness then you can see some green, red or black patches. As the healing occurs, the patches turn into golden or white light. If you cannot see this happening it does not mean that the process has failed, it is just a thrill.”

He gave a few words of caution as well, “At the same time, please understand that physical distance does not matter. Healing from anywhere in the world always works. With your intuition you will be able to make out the impact.”

Manoj’s next healing experience was also very interesting. “While healing a boy, we saw that a bright ball of Light was formed next to him. It seemed that the healing energies and strong intent from the entire Healers’ Group has concentrated into the ball. The boy was fine within no time.”

“Yes, it happens that way,” Guruji said, “you see, when many send their energies vis-à-vis a few, the globe of Light becomes stronger. It will stay in the system and work towards the recovery. Sometimes the globe will be seen near the head or body. Location doesn’t matter though, because it works.”

In a recent Sunday Class, Guruji had given us many new details about how the healing energy works. There is a special healing energy stored in Taponagara. We pray to the deity in-charge of these energies and request her to heal the patient. Guruji explained that these energies enter the mind and then spread to the body. Every field of energy has its intelligence, so these energies not only relieve pain but also guide. As in, it might recommend a switch in the medical treatment being sought. Here again the guidance is given at a Higher level, so it may appear as a strong thought in the minds of either the patient or his caretakers. Guruji has always insisted that while Spiritual healing is undertaken the conventional medical treatment should be continued.

What surprised us even more, was the fact that the healing energies also remove some of the illness-causing Karma from the patient, and might transfer some of it to the healer. And there is more, because healing is not a simple process. The energies also help the patient to positivise! It does so by making the individual aware of his mistakes, shortcomings, etc. Alertness to the process will help identify the guidance received.

“All suffering, all problems have a Spiritual root cause; there are lessons to be learnt” Guruji had once mentioned. There is more to how the healing process works. Guruji said that he will tell us more in the months to come.

Many New Agers have brought out books on healing the body by changing ones thought patterns and clearing the emotional blocks. Mr. Sunil Bisarahalli had read one such book and asked Guruji whether thoughts directly affect the body or they get converted into some Karma, which later manifests as an ailment. Guruji explained, “Karma comes out of action. Only strong and continuous negative thinking affects. Again the weak thoughts, even if continuous, do not impact. If we hold on to wilful anger, non-love and venom against another then it definitely impacts us, not just them.” This is the reason why Guruji has endlessly emphasised on positivising our thoughts and emotions.

We can heal by ourselves or we can pray to God, will it make any difference? This was Sunil’s next question. Guruji said, “Ultimately, we receive everything from God alone. So it makes no difference as such.” There is certainly a lot more we need to understand about the healing process.

Ms. Sridevi N., a Meditation teacher, very rarely poses questions. This once her question was, “Guruji, can -Meditation help mentally challenged patients?”

“This problem happens when there is some disconnect between the brain and the mind,” Guruji explained. “Maybe these energies will help open-up new brain cells or strengthen old cells. They may even regain normalcy. And again, it all depends on their Karmas. If they have a lot of Karmas, it will take a long time. Even if they do not recover they will have some relief.”

“Will Light channelling help?”

“It will help, but it is difficult to say to what extent. Whether you channel Light or send healing energies, it is always Divine Light which reaches the person.”

Ms. Rakhee shared one of her experiences with oneness. “Guruji, in the last two months I have noticed that when someone I deeply care about falls ill or suffers pain, I also feel the same. The day they recover, I do too. Initially, I brushed this aside thinking of it as a coincidence, but it has occurred a couple of times. Is this because of oneness?”

“This happened because you have strong emotional links with the person,” Guruji clarified. “We relate to everyone around us, but when we are very deeply attached to a person then we share their pain. This attachment is at the level of the mind, hence the impact. It happens naturally. Everybody has their own Karmas, their share of suffering; in spite of this sometimes the Rishis take over some pain. I have done this many times. However, when you experience oneness with the world or with a group, it is at the level of the soul, and so you will not share the suffering.

The point on oneness triggered a question from Manoj, “Guruji, while experiencing oneness, I have realised that emoting is very important. Until we put our heart into it, we cannot experience complete oneness.”

Guruji: “That’s why emotions are very important. That’s why Bhajans are very effective. Whenever we try to experience oneness, we should do it with love. Human love evolves to unconditional Divine Love, which again is an emotion. While relating to another person, Rishi or God, you must employ emotions. Even while contacting the Ascended Masters, start with emotions, the contact will become very easy and very strong.

Why do animals suffer? They do not have Karmas of their own. It is that God has given us an opportunity to extend our compassion and take care of them? This was the next question.

Guruji: “What you said is true. We have to extend our compassion. But animals suffer because they happen to be in this time period. There are global level shared Karmas which everyone, even the animals, go through. There is much more to understand than the simplistic laws of Karma. What the world goes through, Nature goes through as well.

Fortunately, the world is now going through a phase of catharsis. All negativity is surfacing, slowly but steadily. As more Light spreads across the world, human beings, animals, plants and everything in Nature will heal. Let us make our contribution by channelling Light to the whole world and everyone on it.

How will the 2012 scenario unfold? Will the journey towards the Light Age be marred by tragedies? Will the destruction preceding construction be severe? What will happen and how? Such questions aggravate our concern for our loved ones and ourselves. Guruji has always said categorically that a lot depends on the choices that humanity makes at large, which is nothing more than the sum total of all individual choices. A lot has been spoken about this in the New Age circles. Recently Guruji had mentioned in passing that one of the possibilities is wherein most human beings will be transported and lodged in another dimension until the destructive part of the Shift gets over. A question regarding this from Ms. Sunita Deshpande, resident meditator and library in-charge, started this interaction session with Guruji.

“Anything said now will only be speculative. Rishis have many ways of saving us and they have not finalised on any one way yet, because, they want humanity to evolve along the way. If we are moved to another dimension then we will be taken there physically. In that place we will live on Prana directly and will not require conventional food. What is most striking about this possibility is that a day over there will be equivalent to many years over here. So that when we return to earth, its environmental condition would have stabilised enough to sustain life again.”

An uncanny silence descended over those gathered; each of us wondering if their mortal eyes would actually get to see such an unprecedented seraphic phenomenon. My imagination had already fashioned an angelic UFO for transportation and was working out the logistics of the much anticipated rapture, which is, the instant disappearance of people as mentioned in the Bible. A concerned Sunita asked if we will retain our memory after rehabilitation. “Of course” Guruji said, “all our memories will be intact. Instead of being here, you will be in that dimension, that’s all. But we do not know if Rishis will use this method to save us. However, any rescue plan will undeniably be a miracle.”

“What is known for sure” he confirmed, “is that only those who have increased their levels of purity will be helped. Which means meditators and good people from all over the world will be helped. Who knows, we might be taken to Shambala.”

Mr. Swaminathan requested Guruji to help us understand the difference in time scales between our earth and the dimension, which could be our probable rescue camp.

In response Guruji gave us a tiny glimpse into the mysterious incidents which happened to him. “We will be taken to a different dimension where space-time reality is not the same as ours. It is difficult to intellectually comprehend but we do experience similar things right here. For example, just the other day I was seriously working for two hours but when I checked the time only an hour had passed. Once it so happened that I had a lot of work but very less time. I was struggling. So I just focused on my task completely; upon completion of two hours of work I saw that only twenty minutes had passed!”

Pausing just enough for all of us to register the unusual facts in our minds he asked, “How do you think it happened? This does not occur very often or at my will. I feel that a Higher Intelligence is watching over us and making such supernatural events manifest.”

For an impersonal Universal purpose, I feel, the Higher Intelligence allows laws of Nature to alter. Did It not part the sea for Moses and the Yamuna for baby Krishna? In fact, many students have reported that during long hours of Meditations they have noticed a change in the pace of time. After going deep into stillness when they emerge to the conscious level of awareness only a few minutes would have passed. Time actually slows for a few!

So, what does one do to qualify for the rescue if humanity pushes itself to the very brink? Guruji assuaged our unexpressed anxiety; maybe it was visible on our faces, what with our eyes gaping incessantly at him. “Do not worry about these details. Focus on Meditation and positivisation; be good, simple and honest. That’s enough. Be carefree, not careless. We don’t require a very special training. I think it is too late for that. No training is required for being good, is there? Our purity helps us qualify.”

A few days after this discussion, Guruji had told a few of us that the Light Masters are ready at the Astral level for any and all eventualities. Speaking from his knowledge and participation at the Higher level, he told us that there was no anxiety of any sort. Rishis are ready for any turn of event. Even as I write this I hear a sigh of relief from the Readers.

Mr. Sudhakar, in-charge of Anekal Meditation Centre and a Taponagara resident asked the next question which pertained to our identification with our identity! “Guruji, when we say connect to your soul, is it because we have identified ourselves with our ego or to this lifetime’s personality?”

Guruji: “You see, the soul is always connected to God. Whenever I speak of such things, I mean connection with God Himself. The soul itself makes attempts to further strengthen this alignment. With this connection we can go beyond the ego, beyond the collective intelligence of the body, mind and intellect system.

“When I say connect to your soul, it is an expression, probably I should say, be aware of your identity as the eternal soul. When our awareness is with our ego, our body-mind-intellect complex identifies itself with the current lifetime’s personality only. When the ego is silent the soul takes control of our lives. Ego is required; our persona helps us think, emote and live in this lifetime. Only when we allow our ego to become dominant does it gain a lot of strength and becomes arrogant. It can also become a negative entity. If our ego is silenced it will co-operate, then our persona aligns to God while we live this life.

“Having spent thousands of years in this darkness of ignorance we have forgotten that we are always connected to God. Processes like Meditation help us in remembering our true identity. We are always connected to God. Realising this simple truth takes time.

“Spiritual realities are essentially very simple. But sometimes we take a long time to realise them; it could vary from a single lifetime to many. For example, many struggle to realise that God is Light, God is everywhere and God has no form. Whenever I say God, I mean Parabrahma, the formless God not the deities with a form like Lord Venkateshwara or Lord Shiva. They are all Divine manifestations.

“Sometimes people ask, what do we meditate upon? We don’t meditate upon anything; we meditate to enter into stillness. In Puranas it is mentioned that some meditated on Lord Shiva or Lord Brahma and were bestowed with rare powers. When we want to gain something we approach deities. But that is not Meditation. Meditation is silencing the body-mind-intellect system so that we can enter stillness.

“Rishis just meditate to experience God and while experiencing they receive a lot of energies. They don’t sit with the purpose of getting the energies, it is like a by-product, and there is no selfish purpose, absolutely none. In fact, that is how all of us have to meditate. We don’t have to ask for anything, just sit and meditate. God knows. You will get everything.

“This is a very important point. Perhaps when you ask, you only receive that much. Don’t ask and you get everything. Rishis perform Tapas like this. And they don’t even keep the energies for themselves. They spend it on seekers whenever they initiate, give boons or whenever they work. So, the gathered energy gets expended.

Underplaying his dislike with arguments on Spiritual matters, he said, “Many times I have observed people start asking questions just from the intellect. There are always answers. A humble person is always receptive, so he can understand. But sometimes people begin arguing. The moment you begin arguing indicates that you do not accept. Arguments will never help us to realise the Spiritual Truths. We must allow the system to assimilate by itself. There is a special intelligence in us, let us call it the Spiritual Intelligence.” Looking at me he said, “I had used this term some twenty years ago when people were not even talking about emotional intelligence.”

“Anyway, Spiritual Intelligence is not blindly accepting without discriminating thought. It is not blind acceptance out of ignorance. But when we accept by using this Intelligence, we tend to straightaway agree. It is out of a deeper awareness. Suddenly you realise the truth. There is a higher Spiritual Intelligence at work. We are in advanced Spiritual times. People can and do understand. There is no point in wasting our time on convincing argumentative people. Many evolved souls have been taking birth in the last few decades. I saw a three year old kid operating a computer. This advanced soul does not require much time to learn.” So true, the age of the physical body does not dictate the person’s maturity anymore. There is a famous allegory - a writer was asked about his age, he humorously said two thousand years.

Mr. Samanwar, a visitor from Nagpur, asked the next question. “Namaskar Guruji. It is said that we suffer or enjoy due to our Karmas. Also it is said that everything happens as per God’s will. Now the question arises, if everything is being done by Him or with His consent, why are we required to face the consequences of the Karma done by us?

Guruji: “This is a very elementary question. You see, God has a grand design; one can call it a Divine program. Everything works out as per this plan and that’s why we say everything goes according to His wish. However, He has bestowed us with freewill. You can accept His program or deviate from it. He allows us to exercise the option of not accepting His wish. When we do not accept and do as we please then we have to face the consequences of our actions, good or bad.

“While His plans take shape, ours do as well. Though it appears contradictory, both happen simultaneously. People who accept His will do not have any problems and have no Karma consequences, because they followed His program. Again because we begin to operate our freewill it becomes our program, not His. Then there are consequences.”

Here we have to be aware of the fact that God is not into micro-management, despite the fact that He knows the shape of every blade of grass. His plans are for the entire Creation and everything in it, and within this framework there is scope for personal choices. When we choose tea over coffee we are not changing any of His plans. To clarify this further, here’s a conversation which a Meditation student had with God. Guruji has confirmed this experience as true.

While the student was pondering about the enormity of microbiology and the fact that its study is endless due to mutation in viruses, God spoke, “I only put the Principles of Nature in motion; all the fine details fall in place.”

Further contemplation on these points will result in a deeper comprehension. On the point of Karmas versus freewill Guruji explained more, “As I have mentioned many times before, Spiritual Truths appear contradictory. But it is not so. They may appear contradicting only at this level. When you see the situation from a Higher perspective, then, you see, there will be no contradictions. That’s why we take up Sadhana, Meditations. They lead us to Higher levels of understanding. From our level of logic and rationale, we cannot find all the answers.”

Many justify atheism by asking why God allows suffering in His Creation. In the context of the question Guruji was responding to, he answered by posing some painful and haunting questions. “Why should earthquake victims in Haiti suffer? Now they have cholera, will their problems ever end? Why did Aung San Suu Kyi languish for so many years? Why is Irom Sharmila still suffering? Why? Why should there be such injustices?” His voice echoed the pain he feels for those who suffer, “Ordinary people are just votes. We have to put up with so much. Why is cruelty and violence allowed in this world? Nature is so loving and beautiful, yet thousands die in floods? Even in our personal lives and in our surroundings there are many difficult questions.”

His defocused gaze showed that something from within him was surfacing; the truth about hope, I guess. “The answers we find at this level using our intellect are not satisfactory. So we have to rise above everything and see from a higher angle. It is then we see all the pieces of the jigsaw and how they fit together to make the pattern complete. That is why I insist that we have to meditate. Meditation is the doorway to the answers for these seemingly contradicting truths.”

“And yet,” he said looking at all of us, “here we are humans first. We go through different emotions of disappointments and hopelessness, and all such questions arise. This is natural. Every one of us, every thinking person who has his conscience operating will naturally think like this. Getting upset emotionally, feeling angry with this cruel system, etc are human experiences. We, the Divine beings, live on this earth as human beings and undergo various human emotions. We have to carry these rare experiences along with us when we leave for Higher planes.”

Amaraji had said – ‘Feeling a little jealous or angry is okay, it is an essential human experience.’ Again this cannot be taken out of context to justify strong negative emotions. Life is not lived by following simple logical truths and simple guidelines. There is so much more to understand. There are contradictions; and they are real, everything is real. I have learnt many such things in my life. This reminds me of what Guruji had told us once, “All rules are only guidelines.”

Someone from those gathered made a comment about how some people do bad things and ascribe it to God’s will.

“Many follow convenient philosophies. That’s why we have to have a lot of patience and also an open mind. We can never draw a line and say this is it. Sometimes similar problems have different solutions. That is why we need wisdom, a kind of Spiritual Intelligence which comes with Meditation. Again Meditation is only the beginning not the end. That is why our ancestors have very aptly described Sadhana as a journey, a never ending journey.”

As long as the influence of the Dark Age continues we will not be at peace with dynamism in applied Spiritual wisdom. Our intellect is not that expanded. Perhaps this is why Ascended Masters had given humanity a list of simple commandments to follow.

Mr. Sudhakar asked about the application part of awareness of our identity as souls living in human bodies. “Intellectually I understand that we are souls. But to actually feel and live like that, by silencing our system and being aware of stillness all the time is difficult.”

“That is a real challenge” Guruji said, “We have to live as ourselves. We are the souls in a human body which is a very good tool. Operate it, don’t allow this body, this system and ego to dominate you. That is why when our awareness enters stillness and becomes aware of the fact that you are the soul, you become the master. Then we begin living as souls and a whole new world opens up for us. A world we have forgotten. Be aware of your connection as a soul to God and operate it. Meditation heightens our awareness about this connection. Then life becomes Divine and we won’t be bound by negative emotions and thoughts; because the soul is always positive. We must go on understanding the Truths relating to us, this Creation, etc. Sadhana is a long journey which ends only when we reach our destination, Mukti - God Himself.”

Soaked in silence nobody spoke for a few minutes. After all we had received such esoteric knowledge in simple words. “All of us have become so serious” Guruji remarked, “as we continue to understand these Spiritual realities, it is also important to be aware of the ongoing this-worldly realities. Like for example, what is happening in North Korea? All of humanity is one, so concern for another is a Spiritual requirement. That is why we should know.” Yes, I thought to myself, know and channel Light to help the situation. Thanks to Guruji, we can now contribute to world peace.

Ms. Shruti, a young Human Resources professional and Mr. Sudhakar’s daughter asked Guruji about Angels, “Guruji, are Rishis the same as Angels? Western art depicts them with wings and other paraphernalia.”

Guruji: “Angels are different entities. They are also very benign beings. Rishis rose from the human level. Read the book - Descent of Soul. They exited Parabrahma Loka with us but maintained their connection with God and did not accumulate Karmas. They are our guides. Angels were created later. They are several types of angels. In Sanskrit, they are called Gandharvas, Kinnaras, Apsaras, etc and they come from different worlds. They help us by giving us comforts; they help us in reaching heaven. No doubt they are special but they cannot guide us spiritually. Only Ascended Masters can guide us back to God because they have a lot of Spiritual knowledge and energies whereas angels don’t. Westerners may not be aware of such details.”

In a recent Sunday Class Guruji had mentioned, that we have to burn our major Karmas in the next few months, after which the Rishis will guide us ahead. Then what about those who are not meditating or pursuing any Spiritual journey? This has been asked many times over, yet Guruji answered again.

“Everybody is contacted at the Astral level. They are guided to positivise. There is a lot of activity in the Astral world which is done under the supervision of Lord Kalki. Whether he appears or not, Lord Kalki is already working. Similarly, even the dark forces are working overtime. Even they have very powerful guides. In this cycle of time, as the finale approaches, the war between Light and Dark intensifies. That’s why, I say, be careful. They can inject negative thoughts into anybody. Remain aligned to the Rishis all the time. Do not entertain a single negative thought. Although we are in a protective shield, we often allow negative thoughts. And whenever this happens we puncture our shields. Again, just because a negative thought comes in don’t get alarmed. I have said repeatedly in the Classes, just meditate and positivise, sincerely and completely. That’s enough. Rishis take care of anything and everything. Don’t get alarmed but you must know about such things.” This must be the reason why Rishis have made strengthening our shields a daily practice.

The war at large will be won if the war within us, each of us, is won to start with. Guruji has equipped us with enough meditational techniques to succeed. Certainly there is light, or should I say the Light Age, at the end of the tunnel, but will the last segment of the tunnel by too dark for us to handle? Will we be rescued to a different dimension? Scenes from the Hollywood movie ‘Knowing’ starring Nicholas Cage comes to my mind. No matter how the Light Age dawns, it will do so for sure. In the meanwhile we have to work towards qualifying ourselves to become the first citizens of the Light Age.
